Mr. KL Goel, Founder & Executive Chairman

Age: 74 years

A fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and also an alumnus of the International Management Institute (IMI, Geneva), Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and Henley on Thames – Staff Administration College, United Kingdom. He was Director, Finance of Indian Oil Corporation Limited and Director-In-charge of Assam Oil Division till 1983, when he joined an oil trading company in Paris and returned to India to set up his own business. Mr. Goel has been a consultant to various government/ private companies and World Bank projects. He has more than50 years of experience in business development and management.

Mr. Kumud Goel, Promoter & Managing Director

Age 47 years

A fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and he has been in the information technology industry for more than25 years. A visionary, he has made significant contributions in the Indian industry for identifying the need and potential for Plant Life Cycle Management Solutions. He has attended various advanced software seminars in India and overseas. Mr. Kumud Goel has been one of the pioneers in introducing CAD/ CAE applications, Project Management, Power System and Automation in India in the late 1980s.

Mr. Subir Raha, Non Executive Independent Director

Age: 59 years

Mr. Raha is an engineering graduate from Jadavpur University and MBA from university of Leeds. He is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India), Indian National Academy of Engineering, All India Management Association, World Academy of Productivity Sciences, Indian Society for Training & Development and others. He was Chairman and Managing Director of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. from 2001 to 2006. During his tenure, ONGC’s market capitalization increased from under Rs.20,000 Crores to over Rs.200,000 Crores making ONGC the most valuable company of the Indian Bourse. Mr. Raha concurrently served as Chairman of the wholly-owned subsidiary of ONGC, ONGC Videsh Ltd. (OVL). He was also Director (HR) (1998-2001), and Director in-charge of Business development, Information Technology and Corporate Communications of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL). Mr. Raha served (1996-98) in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, on secondment as the Head of the Oil Coordination Committee (OCC), the nodal agency for planning, monitoring and control of Oil & Gas business under Administered Pricing regime. He was also a member of the Board for Reconstruction of Public Sector Enterprises (BRPSE), Government of India.

Currently he is President of All India Management Association (AIMA), Chairman of ASSOCHAM’s Expert Committee on Petroleum & Petrochemicals, and leads FICCI’s Mission on Globalizing India.

Mr. Prabir Sengupta, Non Executive Independent Director

Age: 65 years

Mr. Prabir Sengupta is a post graduate in Economics from Presidency College, Calcutta University. He is a retired officer of the Indian Administrative Service and has held various positions in the State of Assam including the position of Sub-Divisional Officer, Additional District Collector, District Collector, Joint Secretary, Home & Political Departments, etc. Further, he had held various positions with the Government of India including, Secretary, Department of Commerce, Secretary, Department of Supply, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Secretary, Department of Defence Production & Supplies, Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (PNG), Secretary, Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Industry, Additional Secretary and Adviser (Energy), Planning Commission and various other important positions during his long career of more than 40 years. He retired as Director of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, a Deemed University.

Mr. G.K. Pandey, Non Executive Independent Director & Chairman, Remuneration Committee.

Age: 76 years

Mr. Pandey is a post graduate in Economics. He joined the Government of India as a Research Officer in the Cabinet Secretariat in 1954 and has the unique distinction of reporting to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on some of the important Economic Issues. He left the Government of India to join the Times of India, in 1959. He was promoted as Special Correspondent and finally as Chief of News Bureau. In 1990, joined the Observer Group of Publications as a senior editor, and was with them till September 1996. Since then has been a freelance journalist and has been regularly writing for numerous publications.

Mr. B.D. Gupta, Non Executive Independent Director

Age: 70 years

A Post Graduate in Commerce and an Associate Member of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India, with nearly 45 years of experience in Finance, Management and Business Strategies. From 1990 to 1994 Mr. Gupta worked as Director (Finance) of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) – a Fortune 500 Company. He was on the Board of Directors of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. as a Wholetime Director during this period. During 1995-2001, he worked as Executive Director of J.M. Morgan Stanley Ltd and was responsible for North India Territory with particular emphasis on Government and PSUs businesses in the field of Corporate Advisory, Disinvestment, Debt Mobilisation, IPOs, Mergers & Acquisitions and other Investment Banking activities.
Currently he is Senior Advisor to the Chairman, ONGC – a Top Oil & Gas PSU of India. He is also Chairman, Board of Governors of an Oil Business School and a Governor of the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Delhi.

Mr. Mukesh Arora, Whole Time Director

Age: 43 Years

A Mechanical Engineer and MBA by qualification he has a rich blend of management experience. He is currently the CEO of KLG Systel. Prior to this, Mr. Mukesh Arora has held management positions at reputed organizations like HCL, TATA, Unisys, IMTAC (Oman), etc. He has the distinction of being a pioneer in the area of Internet solutions in India and has played a key role in defining the Internet strategies for a number of reputed blue-chip companies in India and abroad.

Mr. Adarsh Soni, Non Executive Independent Director

Age: 64 Years

A Graduate in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi and MBA from University of Delhi. He has been associated with all facets of Hydrocarbon Industry, right from Design to Commissioning, for past 36 years. He has been responsible for commercialization of several new products and technologies in the country in association with many international Companies. During his 33 years with Engineers India Limited (EIL), he held numerous positions, contributing significantly towards the growth of EIL and the Indian Refining Industry. He retired as Director (Technical) on the Board of EIL and was directly responsible for providing effective leadership to team of technical professionals working in the Process Design & Development Division, R & D Division and its Pilot Units, Specialized Materials and Maintenance Services, Information Technology Services, Process Operations and Safely Divisions of EIL. After retirement from EIL, he spent 3 years with ONGC/ MRPL as Associated President/ Sr. Advisor and was responsible for conceptualization and initiation of Projects over Rs.25,000 Crores in the field of Refining and Petrochemicals.

Currently, he is President (Projects) with Punj Lloyd Limited.

Mr. Sundararajan Govindarajan, Non Executive Independent Director

Age: 66 Years

A Science Graduate from Madars University. He started his professional career as an officer with the State Bank of India (“SBI”) in the year 1965. He has been associated and well versed with all facets of Banking, for past 43 years. He held several key positions during his tenure with the SBI and retired as the Managing Director and Group Executive (National Banking Group) of SBI in July 2002. Besides being an official Director on the SBI’s Central Board of Directors, Mr. S Govindarajan also functioned as Bank’s nominee on the Board of Directors of Several SBI ventures including National Stock Exchange of India, SBI (Canada), SBI International (Mauritius) Ltd., SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. etc. Post retirement, from May 2003 to June 2005, he was holding the office of Banking Ombudsman with the Reserve Bank of India, Chandigarh.

At present, he is a member of the Settlement Advisory Committe of Indian Bank, Chennai Head Office and advises the Bank on the settlement of problem loans of the Bank.
